3CX

The IT staff has enough to manage day-to-day. One reason you chose a 3CX IP PBX for your business is the ease of installation and management. It’s difficult to find an easier system. With the management console and web client, provisioning is easy for IP phones and even easier for the 3CX softphone. But what if your company has a remote workforce, or recently instituted BYOD and you have users all over the country with laptops and both Android and iOS devices to be configured and provisioned. 3CX mobile provisioning and configuration are so easy that your users can do it on their own. In fact, that’s exactly how it’s designed.

The process couldn’t be any simpler. When you set up a user and create an extension, a welcome email is generated. When users open their email, they are directed to download the 3CX web client. Once installed they either double-click on a configuration file attached to the email or simply drag and drop it into the web client. That’s it. The users are set up. It’s that simple. Their laptop configured, which means 3CX mobile provisioning can now be done on their smartphone.

3CX Mobile Provisioning Can’t Be That Simple, Can It?

It really is. A user needs only to download and install the 3CX app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the same as they would any app. Once installed they will scan a QR code available in their already configured web console via settings. That’s it. 3CX mobile provisioning is complete. Still skeptical it’s that easy? Watch Nick from 3CX provision a phone in under a minute.

Provisioning the 3CX Clients for Android and iOS using a QR code

No need to assign a full team to spend sleepless hours setting up every employee. Each user is set up once in the management console, and the rest is as easy as a click or scan. The 3CX app is loaded with features on both iOS and Android. For a more detailed about 3CX mobile provisioning and installation of clients see below.
