Tutorials: Cisco 19x ATA to Voxtelesys

This tutorial provides a straightforward walk through for setting up a Cisco 19x ATA, ensuring users can successfully configure their device to Voxtelesys.

Required access: Voxtelesys Portal, Cisco Web Interface

Cisco web interface

Navigate to the web interface for your Cisco Device.


If you do not know the IP address, you can do a network scan or plug in an analog phone. If you use an analog phone, dial ****, then wait for the IVR menu to play. When the IVR menu plays dial 110#.

Now type the IP address into your web browser. Example: 192.168.1.100

Sign in to device using "admin" for the username and password you set.

Click "Voice."

Click "Line 1."

Under Nat Settings. For "NAT Keep Alive Enable" change to "yes."

Navigate to the Voxtelesys Portal

Click "SIP Registrations."

Copy your SIP domain for the ATA device.


If you don't have one you can create by following our guide Creating a Registration.

Switch to your Cisco Web Interface.


Under Proxy and Registration. Copy the SIP domain to "Proxy."

Change "Use OB Proxy in Dialog" to "no."

Navigate back to the Portal and Copy your Username.

Switch to your Cisco Web Interface.


Under Subscriber Information. Paste your username in the "Auth ID" Field.

Navigate back to the Portal and copy your password.

Switch to your Cisco Web Interface.


Paste your password in the "Password" field.

Enter the DID you are going to use in the "User ID" field.

Change "Use Auth ID:" to "yes."

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Submit."

Once the Cisco device is done updating, check the status to see that line 1 is Registered.
