Role Overview
This role bridges engineering, product, and marketing—turning complex technical systems into clear, authoritative, and search-optimized content for customers, developers, sales teams, and partners.
You will own the creation of technical manuals, API documentation, tutorials, product guides, and SEO-optimized content that explains sophisticated platforms (including CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, APIs, data pipelines, and telecom infrastructure).
Key Responsibilities
Technical Documentation
- Create & Maintain: Develop product manuals, user guides, admin/operations guides, API documentation, and integration/onboarding guides.
- Translate Complexity: Turn complex engineering workflows into clear, step-by-step instructions, visual workflows, and accessible technical explanations.
- Version Control: Maintain documentation versioning, change logs, and updates.
Tutorials & Knowledge Base
- Content Production: Produce setup guides, troubleshooting articles, best-practice workflows, and how-to tutorials.
- Knowledge Management: Build, organize, and manage a searchable knowledge base, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all content.
B2B Product & Sales Content
- Sales Enablement: Develop technical product overviews, feature explanations, RFP/compliance documentation, and technical sales materials.
- Enterprise Support: Support sales cycles by clearly articulating architecture, security, compliance, and operational workflows.
SEO & Content Strategy
- Optimization: Write search-optimized technical content for product pages, integration pages, industry use cases, and developer resources.
- Keyword Strategy: Conduct keyword research to optimize technical blogs, tutorials, and product documentation, ensuring all content drives inbound demand and discoverability.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 4+ years of technical writing or developer documentation experience, specifically within B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms
- Technical Aptitude: Proven ability to document APIs, SaaS platforms, workflow automation, and complex data/telecom systems.
- Writing & Structure: Strong command of technical grammar, information architecture, and instructional design. Ability to simplify complex systems without losing technical accuracy.
- Tools & Formats: Proficiency in Markdown, HTML, CMS platforms, and knowledge base tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Highly comfortable partnering with engineering, product management, and customer support teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in Telecom, CPaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or enterprise SaaS.
- Familiarity with APIs, SIP, messaging, and workflow automation.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and data governance standards.
- Experience with Git or version-controlled documentation systems.
- Proven SEO experience within a technical or B2B SaaS environment.

This is an in-person role at our Fargo office (509 25th Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102) or our Wahoo office (112 East 7th Street Suite 1, Wahoo, NE 68066).
