Tutorials: SIP Trunk Setup

Under the "System Management" tab, select the "Telephony Settings" option, then click on "Trunks" from the drop-down menu.

Click on "+ Create trunk" to begin your configuration.

General settings:

• Trunk name: Enter "Voxtelesys" as your SIP Trunk's name.
• Status: Set your SIP Trunk's status to "Enabled."
• Host: Retrieve the domain/host from Voxtelesys.
• Username: Retrieve the username from Voxtelesys.
• Password: Retrieve the password from Voxtelesys.
• Enabled codecs: Enable and set the codecs in the following order: G.711u,G711a,G.729
• DTMF mode: Set the DTMF mode to RFC2833 from the drop-down menu.
• Other options: Set up the following: Key = insecure | Value = port,invite
• Registration: Enter the registration in this format: Username:Password@Domain

Save your SIP Trunk configuration when you are finished.
