To begin assigning your Flow Route click "Continue to Setup" after publishing your Flow.

  • Tip: A Flow Route is based off of an Inbound Trunk Group, Route Profile, Route Profile Route, and a Voice API Profile.

Inbound Trunk Group(s) are used to handle inbound calls.

Route Profile(s) are used to handle routing for DIDs..

Route Profile Route(s) are used to determine where the DID should be routed to. Each Route Profile Route can be assigned a priority, destination type, and destination. Where priority is used to determine when this Route Profile Route should be tried.

Voice API Profile(s) are used to determine how inbound calls are handled.

The Assign Flow Route Modal will make use of this process, by creating or using an existing Route Profile, creating a new Route Profile Route under the Route Profile, and by creating or using an existing Voice API Profile that will be associated with the Route Profile Route as a destination type and the given priority.

The Flow itself can be assigned to multiple Voice API Profiles, Inbound Trunk Groups, Route Profiles, and Route Profile Routes.
