    1. Select Outbound Rules

    2. Select + Add

    3. North American Dial Plan +1

    Voxtelesys support National, E164 No Plus, and E164 calling formats for 3CX dialing, these can be adjusted in the Portal if you want to change your calling format. In the examples below we are going to show E164 as that is standard for 3CX.

    National: 5558675309

    E164 No Plus: 15558675309

    E164: +15558675309

    • E164 is required for SMS on 3CX

    11 Digit Rule (E164)

    Rule Name: Outbound 11 Digit

    Call to Numbers with a length of: 11

    Route: Voxtelesys Trunk

    Prepend: +

    10 Digit Rule (E164)

    Rule Name: Outbound 10 Digit

    Call to Numbers with a length of: 10

    Route: Voxtelesys Trunk

    Prepend: +1

    4. International Dial Plan

    Standard International (E164)

    Rule Name: International +

    Route: Voxtelesys Trunk

    Prepend: +

    011 International (E164)

    Rule Name: International 011

    Calls to numbers starting with prefix: 011

    Route: Voxtelesys Trunk

    Strip Digits: 3

    Prepend: +

    5. Emergency

    Rule Name: Emergency

    Calls to numbers starting with prefix: 911,922,988

    Call to Numbers with a length of: 3

    • Dialing 922 will test your 911 address without disrupting 911 service centers.

    • Dialing 988 is the national Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, Voxtelesys supports calling 988 from your PBX system. You can also dial 800-273-TALK (8255) directly.

    6. Specific Area code Dial Plan

    Rule Name: Pick a name!

    Call to Numbers with a length of: 7

    Route: Voxtelesys Trunk

    Prepend: Add "+1" and area code you want to 7 digit dial Example: +1214

    7. Prefix Caller ID

    Rule Name: Pick a name!

    Calls to numbers starting with prefix: Pick your prefix example: 100

    • Prefix rules are recommended to be below your main rules in the rule.

    Call to Numbers with a length of: "13" for 10 Digit and "14" for 11 Digit

    • Since we are adding 100 to the number we need to increase the length by 3.

    Route: Voxtelesys Trunk

    Strip digits: 3

    • This strips off the 100 so it does not get sent in your call to Voxtelesys.

    Prepend: "+1" for 10 Digit and "+" for 11 Digit

    Outbound caller ID: Caller ID you want to send with this prefix
